📝 What is this club?
This Ramadan Holiday Club, the children will become the author of their own Ramadan story. Using inspiration from the wonderful Morden Hall Park, children will create an original story that can be funny, thoughtful, imaginative or reflective, based on Ramadan themes such as fasting, kindness, family, helping others and personal growth.

🎨 How will stories be created?
Children can choose the format that suits them best:
• A cartoon story (drawings with speech bubbles)
• A picture book (illustrations with short text)
• A written story (longer paragraphs or chapters)

✏️ What will we do?
Children will be guided step by step to create a character, plan a beginning, middle and end, write and/or draw their story, and design a front cover. Sharing is optional.

💛 Important to know
This is a supportive, pressure-free environment. There is no test, spelling and handwriting do not need to be perfect, and drawing is just as valued as writing. Every child’s story will be different. You may attend one, two or all three days, however, attending all three allows for a more complete final outcome.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch and a snack each day. This is a drop-off club, with morning drop-off at Snuff Mill, Morden Hall Park. The club runs from 10:00am–3:00pm. Further logistical details will be shared closer to the time.
