Camp notes

In this 3-day holiday club, children will immerse themselves in the rituals of Hajj in a fun and creative way — by designing their own Hajj app! There’s no actual tech involved; children will work with paper, crafts and imagination. They'll create characters, write descriptions, draw icons, design coins, present to their peers and map out rituals — learning the steps of Hajj while building their own ‘pretend app’ to guide others on the Hajj journey. As always, we will combine our unique blend of Islamic education and hands-on learning, with lots of opportunities for play and connection.
Although the children will get the best experience if they attend all three days, each day can still be attended as a standalone session, so you can book 1, 2 or all three.

Educational goals:
• Learn that Dhul Hijjah is one of the four sacred months
• Learn the key rituals of Hajj and their meanings
• Understand the journey Muslims make to Makkah
• Strengthen Islamic identity through creative play
• Develop design thinking, storytelling and communication skills
